Welcome​

Inspire by FVMA is a comprehensive wellbeing program designed for all Florida veterinarians, veterinary professionals, and team members, regardless of membership status with the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA).

Our mission? To improve the wellbeing of the veterinary community through accessible mental health care and workplace wellness resources. 

We are offering the PERMA4 Plus evaluation for Veterinary Workplaces to all veterinary professionals in the state. You will receive an individual report of your own wellbeing and the option to create your own wellbeing plan based on your results. 

​​Your individual insights are completely confidential and anonymous.

As a participant in the Inspire by FVMA program, you have complementary access for your individual wellbeing insights report of the PERMA4 Plus evaluation for Veterinary Workplaces which assesses:

  • Comprehensive Wellbeing; 
  • Burnout;
  • Leadership; and 
  • Psychological Safety.

The following areas will be evaluated for you and your workplace:

  • Positive emotion, engagement, relationships, meaning/purpose, achievement plus Health, Midset, Economic Security & Environment.
  • Workplace engagement and other “workplace nutrient” factors
  • Psychological safety on an individual, team and organizational level
  • Psychosocial hazards/risks and burnout
  • Compassion, appreciation, responsibility, and emotional wisdom (CARE) of leadership/organization

The Inspire by FVMA program will use the aggregated results to help guide and understand the needs of the Florida veterinary community and help deliver tool, supports and interventions based on these results.
